Crispy on the outside and gooey and chewy on the inside, these air fryer chocolate chip cookies are delicious. These cookies are easy to make, requiring only under 10 minutes of your active time—kid-friendly and a total crowd-pleaser.

In the summer months, I usually don't like to bake anything because it just makes my kitchen and the surrounding areas so hot. Typically, in this scenario, the air fryer comes to the rescue.
Baking anything is super easy and mess-free. It doesnt use lots of utensils and bakeware. Use the liner or parchment paper, and you're good to go.
I am a big fan of the air fryer, and since I started using it in 2014, I have never looked back. I have created several air fryer recipes for appetizers, snacks, and entrees that are both healthy and quick.

Why Make Chocolate Chip Cookies in an Air Fryer?
Air fryers are less messy, and they don't require a baking tray specifically. Additionally, they require less time to bake a small batch of cookies. In the summer months, it's a significant advantage that they do not heat the whole house like an oven.

How to bake?
In a bowl, first combine the butter and both sugars. Mix until the batter is light in color and fluffy. Add room-temperature eggs and vanilla essence. Nicely mix everything.
Combine all the dry ingredients, like flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Fold the chocolate chips into the batter. I have used white chocolate chips.
Keep them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before baking. Place them in a preheated air fryer at 325°F. Do not overcrowd the basket. Bake them for 7-8 minutes, until the edges are crusty but the center remains soft.
Remove the basket from the air fryer and leave it on the counter for 10 minutes. Enjoy them warm with milk or coffee.
