If you have 15 minutes and just a few staple ingredients in your pantry and refrigerator, you can prepare this delicious Lehsuni Dhaniya Paneer. Simple recipe, kids love it and perfect for any special occassion.

What is Lehsuni Dhaniya Paneer?
Lehsun means garlic in Hindi, and dhaniya is cilantro/coriander. Since this paneer curry has robust flavors from both these ingredients, it's named after both. Garlic and cilantro both contribute to the lovely taste of this curry, hence the name.
Ingredients Needed?
Paneer
Cooking oil/Ghee /Butter
For making the herb mix,
Cilantro, Ginger, Garlic, Green Chili
Spice Powders,
Coriander Powder, Turmeric powder, Red Chili Powder,
Fine chopped onion for making gravy/Curry.
Yogurt/Curd and fresh/Heavy cream for making a luscious gravy.
How to Cook?
The first step is to cut the paneer into cubes. It shouldn't be too small or too big. Depending on your preference, Shallow-fry the cubes and then soak them in hot, salted water.
The second step is to make a coarse paste of fresh cilantro leaves, garlic cloves, ginger, and green chilies.

Take a pan. Add cooking oil and heat it. Add chopped onion and cook till they look transparent. At this stage, add the herb paste to the pan and cook for one minute on a low flame.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and coriander powder to the pan and cook until they are well combined. Add whisked yogurt/Curd at this time and cook till the oil separates.
Add the cubed paneer and heavy cream at this time. Adjust the thickness of the gravy to your preference. I have not added any water to the gravy because we prefer eating thick paneer curries.
Serving Suggestions:
Ghee-laden phulkas, parathas, and Naan taste so good with this lehsuni Dhaniya Paneer. Any plain rice or pulao will also taste delicious.
