What Ingredients Do You Need to make Air Fryer Grilled Yoghurt Sandwich?
Bread- Any bread of your choice.
Vegan Butter/Normal salted butter
Vegetables- I have used carrots, onions, cucumbers, peppers, and broccoli.
Yoghurt- Any plant-based yoghurt or normal greek yoghurt.
Grated Cheese- Plant based or any type of cheese blend.
Spices- Red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and salt.
How to Cook the Sandwich-
Chop all the vegetables finely. You can use as many as you like.
Take yoghurt in a cup and add all the seasoning to it.
Mix all the vegetables with yoghurt.
Add shredded cheese to the mix.
Butter one side of the bread slice. It's best to use room temp butter.
Apply tomato ketchup to one side of the slice.
Arrange vegetables and yoghurt filling on the bread. Cover with another slice of bread.
Butter the slice as well.
Place in the lower air fryer grill. Air fry till golden and crisp.
Air Fried Grilled Yoghurt Sandwich
- 4 Slice Bread
- 1 Cup Chopped Vegetables
- ½ Cup Thick Yoghurt
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- ½ Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- ¼ Tsp Garlic Powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ Cup Shredded Cheese
- 2 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- Chop all the vegetables and mix with the yoghurt and spices.
- Add cheese and mix well.
- Butter each slice of bread on one side.
- Apply ketchup inside two pieces of bread.
- Pre heat air fryer to 350 F.
- Place the filling on one side of the bread.
- Cover with another slice and grill for 7-8 minutes or till it looks crispy and golden.
- Do not forget to turn in between and air fry for a minute or two.
- Serve the sandwich with some ketchup or chutney.
