Vegan Nasi goreng (Indonesian Fried Rice)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp Minced/Chopped Garlic
  • ¼ Cup Green Beans Chopped
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Carrot
  • ¼ Cup Chopped bell Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp EDamame
  • 1 Tbsp Red Chili sauce /Paste/ sambal olek
  • 1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce (Kecap Manis)
  • 1 Cup Cooked Jasmine Rice
  • 1 Tbsp Scallion for Garnish.
  • Lime /Lemon for sprinkling.
  • Salt to taste(I have used just a slight sprinkle over veggies)

Method
 

  1. Heat the wok /Pan and add the sesame oil.
  2. Add chopped garlic and saute till they look golden.
  3. Add all the veggies and saute until they are cooked through ,al dente.
  4. Add Red Chili Paste/Sauce or Sambal paste.
  5. Mix properly and add kecap Manis and dark soy sauce to it.
  6. Add cooked jasmine rice and mix everything. Garnish with scallion and sprinkle some lime juice.
  7. Vegan Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried Rice) is ready to be devoured.
  8. Enjoy.
