Method
- Soak the tamarind in 2.5 cups of warm water.
- Mash it with hands and strain it with a sieve .
- We will use only the tamarind water,mixed with soft pulp ,so discard all the seeds .
- Take a pan . Add jaggery and tamarind water and all the ingredients together.
- Cook this 12 -14 minute on low to medium flame.
- Keep stirring it so that lumps are not formed.
- Remove the pan from heat and let it cool on the kitchen counter.
- Transfer in a clean jar and refrigerate it .
- You can use this for at least two months.
