Potato Fry (Aloo Bhujia)

Crispy and crunchy potato match sticks are pan cooked to perfection. It's simple, easy, and doesn't involve many ingredients. It is also vegan and gluten free!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Big Potatoes(Chop in to matchsticks)
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 2 Tbsp Oil of your choice
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt according to your taste.
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh cilantro(optional)
  • ½ Tsp Cumin Seeds

Method
 

  1. Cut potatoes into long matchsticks .
  2. Take a Wok/Pan Add oil to it.Heat it .
  3. When its hot add cumin seeds and green chili to it .
  4. Let them crackle.
  5. Add potato match sticks to it .Saute it once.
  6. Add turmeric powder and salt to it .
  7. Saute and cover the wok/pan .
  8. Cook it on medium/low flame for 3-4 minute .
  9. Remove the lid and stir it once .Cover it again and keep the flame to low.
  10. Cook it for 2 minute.
  11. Remove the lid and cook on medium flame .
  12. Cook till potatoes look crispy and golden That will depend on your taste..
  13. Garnish with cilantro .Switch off the flame .
  14. Serve with bread or rice dal .
  15. Enjoy.
