Mushroom Korma

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Oz Button Mushroom
  • ½ Cup Birista/ Fried Onion
  • ½ Cup Yogurt
  • 1 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chili powder
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • ½ Tsp Kasoori Methi
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Oil/ghee
  • Cilantro for garnish
  • Ginger Garlic Paste

Method
 

  1. Grind birista/fried onion and ginger garlic paste to make a nice paste.
  2. Slice the mushroom after cleaning and keep it aside.
  3. Mix yogurt ,fried onion paste and all the spices.
  4. Marinate mushrooms in this paste and keep them on the counter for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Take a heavy bottom pan .Add oil and heat the pan.
  6. Add marinated mushroom and stir it in the pan. Cook it covered on low flame for 10 minutes.
  7. If oil is released then add chopped cilantro. Stir it once more and cook covered for 7-8 more minutes on low flame.
  8. Switch off the flame and enjoy with roti or rice.
