Korean Tofu Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 13 Oz Extra firm tofu,pressed and cubed
  • 3 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • ¼ Tsp Crushed Black Pepper
  • 1 Cup Broccoli florets
  • ¼ Cup Red Bell Pepper
  • ¼ Cup Yellow Bell Pepper
  • Oil for shallow frying.
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Grated Ginger
Sauce Mix
  • 1 Tbsp Gochujang Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Brown /Coconut sugar
  • 1 Tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 Tsp Gochugaru(Korean red pepper)
Garnish
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Scallion

Method
 

  1. Press the tofu and cut them into your desired shape.
  2. Place them in a big bowl and mix them with corn starch,salt and crushed black pepper.
  3. Shallow fry ,air fry or bake the tofu till it looks crispy.
  4. Chop the vegetables and prepare everything else.
  5. Take a wok or pan. Add oil to it and heat ,add minced garlic and ginger to the pan.Saute till the raw smell is gone.
  6. Add all the vegetables and saute them on high heat .
  7. Add sauce mix and combine with the vegetables. Furthermore ,add tofu and saute with all the vegetables and sauce. Make sure that all the tofu and vegetables are coated nicely with sauce mix.
  8. Place the tofu stir fry in a serving dish and garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds.
  9. Enjoy.
