Grilled Bok Choy

Marinated in a delicious marinade, these baby bok choy are grilled on a cast iron pan to perfection. Served as a side or salad, this dish is also vegan and plant-based.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Fresh Baby Bok Choy
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Lime/Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • ½ Tsp Crushed Black Pepper Powder
  • ½ Tsp Garlic Powder

Method
 

  1. Mix everything other than bok choy in a bowl.
  2. Whisk everything together. Keep it aside.
  3. Chop/divide bok choy into two parts.
  4. Wash them properly and dry with a paper or cloth towel.
  5. Marinate them with all the marinade.
  6. Keep them aside for marination.
  7. Place a cast-iron pan or a grill pan on the gas stove.
  8. When it's super hot place bok choy inside down first on the pan.
  9. You will hear a sizzling sound.
  10. Turn them over by using a spatuala.
  11. Serve them just after removing them from the pan.
  12. Enjoy!
