Easy Almond Burfi

It takes only 5 ingredients and you can prepare this in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • I Cup Almond Flour (Store bought)
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Water
  • 1+1 Tsp Ghee
  • 1 Tsp Rose water
  • Silver vark (Optional)

Method
 

  1. Take a pan add sugar ,water and rose water.Stir it and let it boil.
  2. Add the almond flour when it starts boiling .
  3. Stir continuously with a whisker,and keep the flame on low.
  4. Add 1 tsp of ghee and stir it continuously .
  5. I would advise using a silicone spatula here.Stir it continuously till it leaves the sides.Heat should be low at this time otherwise your mixture will turn brown .Which is not advisable .
  6. Take a small plate or trey.Line this with Wax paper or parchment paper.
  7. Take out the mixture in a separate bowl and add 1 tsp of ghee .Knead the mixture like you are kneading the dough.(It will be warm so be carefull)
  8. Make a round ball and keep it between two wax papers.
  9. Roll it evenly in a rectangular shape.It should not be too thick or too thin.
  10. Apply Silver vark if you want .
  11. Cut it into your desired shape.
  12. Your Almond Burfi is ready to serve.
