Aloo Tikka Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Baby Boiled and Peeled Potatoes
For Marination
  • ½ Cup Dahi /Yogurt
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Tsp Salt
  • ½ Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ½ Tsp Chat Masala
  • ½ Tsp Coriander Powder
  • ½ Tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 Tsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves
Veggies
  • ½ Cup Onion,remove all the petals
  • ½ Cup Mixed Colored Peppers
  • 1 Big Green Chili Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Oil for marination
For Making the curry
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Whole spices (mix)
  • Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Small Chopped Onion
  • ½ Cup Tomato + Dry red Chili + Foxnut (1+2+6)
  • ½ Cup Hot water
  • ½ Cup Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Tsp Add butter /ghee to enhance the flavor. enhance the flavor.
  • ½ Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ½ Tsp Kitchen King Masala (optional) however it gives a perfect,spicy, tangy flavor.
  • 1 Tbsp Heavy cream or fresh cream (optional)

Method
 

  1. Boil and peel the potatoes. Marinate them with all the ingredients listed above.
  2. Prepare the tomato ,foxnut and dry red chili paste by boiling and grinding them into a paste.
  3. The Third step is to cook marinated potatoes with peppers and onion petals in a pan without any oil.When oil is released and potatoes look little cooked ,remove them in a plate.
  4. Take a fresh Pan.Add oil to it .Heat and add cumin seeds till it splatters.
  5. Add chopped onion and cook till translucent. Now add tomato, dry red chili ,foxnut paste ,and other spices.
  6. Cook till oil is separated and add marinated and cooked potato ,peppers and onion.
  7. Add water and cook everything for around 7-8 minutes on low flame.
  8. Garnish with cream and chopped fresh cilantro.
  9. Enjoy.
