Air Fryer Black Pepper Cauliflower

Air Fryer Black Pepper Cauliflower. Crispy, crunchy, and with a hint of spice, this cauliflower dish is super delicious to have. Cooking this dish is simple, and it only takes a few ingredients. Vegan and scrumptious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Medium Cauliflower head
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 4-5 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Small Red Onion
  • ½ Tsp Black Peppercorn
  • ½ Tsp White Peppercorn
  • 1 Small Red or green chili pepper
  • 6-8 Basil leaves /curry leaves /chopped cilantro
Sauce Mix
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Vegan Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Scallion
For Batter
  • 1 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Water
  • ½ Tsp Crushed Black Pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Cut cauliflower into small /medium florets.Mix all the batter ingredients .
  2. Coat florets with the batter .Make sure they are evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380f.
  4. Arrange them in the basket after spraying the oil .
  5. Spray some oil on the florets as well.
  6. Air fry them for atleast 7-8 minutes or till they look golden and crispy.
  7. Turn them around once.
  8. Air fry them in batches .
  9. Alternatively you can bake or fry them.
  10. Crush the pepper corns. Chop the garlic,chili and onion.
  11. Take a pan /wok.Add oil to it .
  12. When its hot add garlic ,onion and chili.
  13. Saute till they look caramalized.
  14. Add crushed peppers and herbs to the pan .
  15. Add sauce mix and let cook for a minute or two on low flame.
  16. Mix air fried cauliflower florets with the sauce .
  17. Make sure they coat nicely with the sauce.
  18. Garnish with some green onion and serve.
