Ingredients

  • 8-10 Baby Potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Oil, for brushing the potatoes
Cajun Spiced Sauce
  • ½ Cup Vegan Mayonnaise/mayonnaise/heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp Cajun spice seasoning
  • ½ Tsp Red Peppr Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Almond Milk/Whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp Lime/Lemon juice

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes.
  2. If you are using the Instant Pot, cook on high pressure for 1 minute.
  3. Release the pressure naturally and cool them.
  4. If you are using a stove-top, boil them till they are fork-tender. Remove from the pot and cool them off.
  5. Using your palm, smash the potatoes lightly. Don't smash them too hard, or else they will break.
  6. Brush them with oil and season them lightly with salt.
  7. Preheat the air fryer to 400 F and bake them till they look crispy and golden brown.
  8. Remove them onto a plate after they are done.
  9. Mix all the ingredients required to make the sauce.
  10. Taste the seasoning and adjust it according to your taste.
  11. Arrange the air-fried smashed potatoes on a serving platter and pour the sauce over top of them. They should be covered with the sauce, or you can drizzle a little on top.
  12. Use the method of whichever you like the most.
  13. Serve it as a side or appetizer, and enjoy!!!
