Easy Mushroom Pepper Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 8 OZ Button Mushroom/Baby Bella Mushroom.
  • 2 Tbsp Neutral Oil/Ghee
  • ½ TSP Black Mustard seeds
  • ¼ Tsp Asafoetida powder
  • 2 Dry red Chili
  • 8-10 Curry Leaves
  • 3 Cloves Chopped Garlic
  • 1 Small Chopped Onion
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ½ Tsp Cumin Powder
  • ½ Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp Crushed Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Water
  • ½ Cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves

Method
 

  1. Clean Mushroom and slice them into four parts. If they are very small than two parts.
  2. Take a pan,and add oil to it.
  3. Add black mustard seeds,curry leaves,dry red chili and asafoetida powder to it .
  4. Let them crackle.Now add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chili powder,cumin powder,salt and coriander powder to it.
  5. Add two tbsp of water if it's sticking to the pan.
  6. Add mushroom,mix everything and cover.
  7. Cook the mushroom till it's done according to your taste and coated with all the spices. It will be reduced in quantity by half.
  8. Garnish with some fresh cilantro and serve.
