Air fryer cauliflower fritters/Gobi Pakora. Crispy, crunchy and guilt-free, these gobi pakoras are a perfect appetizer/snack for any get-together or binge-watching of Netflix. It doesn't take much time and needs less then 5 ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Small Cauliflower (Break into florets)
  • 1 Cup Chickpea Flour
  • ¼ Cup Rice flour
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • pinch of baking soda/fruit salt (Eno)
  • Salt to taste (use quite little)
  • ½ Cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro (Optional)
  • Water required to make a free flowing smooth pancake type batter
  • Oil for spray or brushing

Method
 

  1. Take a big pan. Boil enough water with salt. Dip florets for 7-8 minutes into boiling water.
  2. Drain the water and dry off the cauliflower florets.
  3. Make a smooth batter using chickpea flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, baking soda, salt, and chopped cilantro.
  4. Preheat air-fryer at 360 F for 1 minute.
  5. Spray the basket with oil spray.
  6. Arrange batter-dipped florets in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd it.
  7. Spray them on top as well.
  8. Air fry them till they look golden and crispy. It will take 10-12 minutes.
  9. Shake the basket in between. Your time may increase or decrease depending on the size of your florets.
  10. Serve with your choice of dip.
