Easy Murukku

A savoury snacks from south of India ,traditionaly, made from rice flour.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ Cups Rice flour
  • ¼ Cup Dhaliya Powder(Pottukadalai powder
  • 1 Tsp Ajwain /Caraway seeds
  • ½ Tsp Chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp Hot oil
  • Salt according to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Make a fine powder of Dhaliya.
  • Mix rice flour ,dhaliya powder ,salt ,chili powder,ajwain properly and then add hot oil. Make a crumbly mixture with the help of hot oil .
  • Add water little by little and make a smooth dough. Don't add too much water.
  • Take a wok and heat oil in it.
  • Use Murukku press for frying the Murukku .
  • Don't over crowd the pan .
  • You can make any shape according to your liking .
  • Before frying don't forget to check the oil.
  • Use paper towel to drain off excess oil.
  • Serve it with tea or coffee.
