Blueberry Crumble with Pineapple Compote

Making of Blueberry Crumble.


For Blueberry base–

Blueberries-1 cup

Pineapple compote-1/2 cup I have used homemade but you can always use store bought preserve for this.

Sugar -3 table spoon.

All-purpose flour-1 table spoon.

Lemon juice-1 table spoon

Pinch of salt.

For topping–

All-purpose flour-6 tablespoon

Oats-1/4 cups

Brown sugar-1/4 cup

Vanilla extract-1/4 teaspoon

Butter-4 table spoon, on room temp.


Preheat oven to 375f.

In a bowl combine sugar, flour, lemon juice, salt Blueberries and Pineapple compote.

In another bowl stir together flour, oats, brown sugar and vanilla. Mix with butter until combined nicely.

In a baking tray layer the berry mixture.

Scatter the topping over the berries.

Bake it till its bubbly, and golden. It would take around 20-25 minutes.

Serve this alone or with some vanilla ice cream.
