My kids love to eat chicken curry. You cannot make spicy and rich curries every day nor you can eat it. So in the quest of making healthy chicken curry, I always try to develop recipes which are simple and yummy.
Try this recipe and you will be amazed that how flavourful simple food can taste. It needs very few ingredients and you can prepare it in a pressure cooker for less then twenty minutes.
FOR MARINATING THE CHICKEN—
Chicken pieces-2 lb
Kashmiri Lal Mirch-1/2 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste-1 teaspoon.
Coriander powder-1 teaspoon
Marinate chicken and keep it into the fridge for 1 hour.
onion-one thinly sliced
Canola oil -one table spoon
Take a pressure cooker.
Add all dry spices.
Add onion into it saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add marinated chicken and into it.
Make sure you add everything and clean the bowl you used for marination. That is key to this curry.
Saute for 7-8 minutes.
Add two cups of water to it.
Pressure cook till 2 whistles.
After the pressure cooker cools down remove the lid.
Check the seasoning, and adjust it if it needs improvement.
Check if gravy is thick or thin enough for your liking.
Serve hot with white rice.
