Easy Eggless Chocolate Mousse

Mousse is foam in French and believe me the texture of this mousse is like you are eating a piece of cloud. It’s soft, velvety, smooth and decadent. This is my go-to dessert for kids when they want something chocolatey and I am in no mood of doing something elaborate. Making this is so easy that even kids can make it and often my daughter likes to try her hand at these.


Heavy whipping cream-1 cup

Semi-sweet choco chips -1 cup(you can use dark chocolate if you want)

Instant coffee powder -1 teaspoon


In a double boiler melt the chocolate until it becomes really smooth and shiny.

Now in a big bowl transfer the whipping cream, add one teaspoon of instant coffee and whip till peaks are formed.

Incorporate cream with chocolate. Fold gently.

Pour into the serving glass or bowl.

Keep it into the fridge for at least 2-3 hours to chill and set.

Garnish with chocolate shavings and berries before serving.
